Aftercare
Following earwax removal
- Keep your ears dry for 48 hours afterwards.
- Do not use cotton buds, EVER, or poke anything inside your ear, including your finger.
- In rare cases temporary inflammation can occur, causing itching and discomfort afterwards, this tends to settle after a day or two. Ear drops can help alleviate these symptoms.
- If earwax build-up occurs regularly, use olive oil drops (we recommend EAROL Spray) each night, for the first week of each month. This can help promote a more natural cycle, and help slow down, or prevent future build-up.
See your GP if you...
- Develop any ear pain.
- Continual itching within or around the ear.
- Develop any discharge from the ear.
- Develop any swelling in, or around the ear.
- Dizziness or vertigo.
